all those in favor of a longer fall break say i

i love fall. i love fall break. i love my life.

family: movies outside, guilty party, creepy old scary movies, daddy daughter date, costco samples with mom, halloween party tradition. fun stuff. but mostly it is just being with them again that makes me happy. love.

clara: three visits. i love that woman. she has done so much for our family. our relationship has gotten sweeter as she approaches the end. i learn so much from just being in her presence. blessing.

hancocks: real salt lake. carnival games. would you want to win a cupholder or lose a tootsie pop? or maybe a budweiser keychain. kaylie is barely showing "i'm just saying!" being with them makes me happy. SO happy. i love them. a lot. happiness.

farewells: scrumptious is going to russia. first time i've seen most oakcrest friends since camp. those girls are my best friends. no....it's more. they are my sisters. being with them again reminded me of what i learned this summer. singing come unto me was so powerful. i got to see a camper for the first time. her mom thanked me for changing her daughter's life. it meant a lot. i know it wasn't me who changed it. i just got lucky enough to be an instrument. yesterday reminded me of that. joy.

letter: got a letter today. coming back this weekend was hard. a letter was the perfect medicine. it was a good one. zachary.

weekend=perfect. life=great. calculus=less than ideal....better go start it.
